Hi to everyone! Today is June 30, 2007. We found out today that Jeff will not be going to Iraq. What a relief! Only two downfalls of him not going is 1-we won't be making the money we were looking forward to and 2-he won't go to the personal protection school that he wanted. We are very happy though that we get to come home all together and not be apart for a year. There are so many more ups to him not going that I wouldn't be able to list them all!
My daycare is growing and I am getting more kids scheduled everyday. On long days I am so tired and worn out I wonder how I can do this everyday and still enjoy it. But I do, plus it is a great way for Chase to learn to share (which hasn't happened yet) and for him to get use to not being the only child. No we are not pregnant but I plan to be before we transfer. I want to be just far enough along that the morning sickness isn't too bad and I am getting into the fun stage of pregnancy. We will see what Jeff thinks when the time comes (but I normally get my way!).
We are not sure yet where we are going after this tour and probably won't know until about April of 2008. I would like to go east coast and Jeff has talked about Kings Bay, Georgia, where he went to A-school. Maybe Tinker AFB if we can get it.
Chase is getting very big. He is talking all the time and I can catch most of what he is saying but sometimes, I have no clue. I'll tell you what though, the terrible twos started right on schedule. Since the beginning of this week, I have seen more tantrums from him than I think I have ever seen. Most of the time he is a wonderful little boy and I can't get enough of him and I know he can't get enough of me. When daddy gets home, neither one of us will be able to get enough of daddy! One more short deployment and then Jeff is home until January. Yeah!
I am still planning on coming home around christmas time, but now it will be all 3 of us instead of just me and Chase. We can't wait to get home and I know Jeff is dying to drive his truck. I think he might even cry when we have to leave it again. We can't wait to see our kitties too. Next time we go overseas, all animals that can will be coming with us. We were thinking about getting a dog when we transferred back to the states, as long as our housing allows it. That will be fun with the cats, but Chase will love it. He likes to run around with them and play fetch. I think one day he will learn that dog food is not something he should eat.
That's all for now, I think.
Love to you all,
Tami
